Personal injury claim following slipping accident at work

Mrs K brought a claim against her employer for negligence in failing to provide a safe place and safe systems of work and for breaching health and safety regulations.

Mrs K sustained a suffered a compound fracture to her right wrist which was subsequently complicated by the development of chronic regional pain syndrome. She also developed a frozen shoulder and had soft tissue injuries to her left arm and face.

Mrs K ended up having to take early retirement as she was unable to return to work because of her injuries.
