ArticleTS&P awarded APIL accreditation The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) was established
in 1990 as the umbrella organisation for claimant personal injury
lawyers and now has over 5000 members including solicitors, barristers
and academics. As well as campaigning on behalf of accident victims
APIL has always been committed to both training and improving standards
in claimant work to ensure the best possible service for personal
injury and clinical negligence clients. APIL has recently launched
an accreditation scheme under the banner "no logo no go".
The accreditation relates to both firms and individual lawyers. The
purpose of accreditation is to guide the public towards solicitors
who offer a high quality of service and away from claims management
companies and those with no genuine expertise. Individual lawyers
can become accredited if they are able to demonstrate the requisite
experience and expertise to satisfy APIL's criteria including a particular
emphasis on continuing training. A firm is also able to become accredited
if it can demonstrate sufficient quality in terms of experience, training,
supervision and resources. We are now an accredited firm and Patricia
Fearnley and Graham Bell, partners at TS&P, were awarded APIL
fellow status. At the time of going to press they are the only APIL
fellows, specialising in clinical negligence work, in the south coast
area from Hampshire to Kent. Patricia Fearnley said "We are very
proud to have received this recognition from APIL particularly given
our admiration for APIL's work and its commitment to the highest levels of client care". You will require the Adobe Acrobat Reader to read PDF files, this
