Leading South East law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore today announces the success of their Annual Brain Injury Lecture on attention deficit and related problems following frontal lobe injury in children held at The Spa Hotel, Tunbridge Wells, Kent on Tuesday 14 June.

Leading South East law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore today announces the success of their Annual Brain Injury Lecture on attention deficit and related problems following frontal lobe injury in children held at The Spa Hotel, Tunbridge Wells, Kent on Tuesday 14 June.

Attended by more than 90 guests, the event examined attention deficit and related problems following frontal lobe injury in children with guest speaker Dr David McCormick.  Dr David McCormick is a consultant in paediatric neurorehabilitation and epilepsy at King’s College Hospital – a position he has held since 2003. 

At King’s, David leads a large multidisciplinary team caring for children in the early stages of recovery after acquired brain injury. He also leads on provision of medical care to children receiving neurosurgery and is a member of the consultant paediatric epilepsy team, caring for both local and regional children with seizure disorders. Prior to joining King’s College Hospital Dr McCormick was a consultant paediatrician in East Kent working in the fields of epilepsy, neurodisability, general paediatrics and neonatal intensive care. During this period he also spent one day a week at Guy’s Hospital as honorary consultant in the paediatric epilepsy service.
