Thomson Snell & Passmore raise money for voluntary organisation

Lawyers from leading South East law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore, representing the West Kent Junior Lawyers Division, hosted a charity quiz in aid of Shelter.

The quiz, attended by more than 136 people, raised £1550 for Shelter and was part of the national ‘lets get quizzical" campaign by Shelter.

The money raised came from a combination of entry fees paid by local professionals who attended the event, the proceeds of an auction and a donation from Thomson Snell & Passmore.

The charity auction contained prizes donated by various local businesses. Prizes included a spa day for 12 at Champneys, whisky tasting experiences at Master of Malt and family days out at Leeds Castle and Hever.

James Partridge, Senior Partner at Thomson Snell & Passmore, said:

“We are very happy to be supporting such a worthwhile voluntary organisation as Shelter. Shelter does invaluable work in the local community and offers an extremely valuable service which the firm is keen to support. The quiz is a great idea and I know the team had an enjoyable evening.”
