Thomson Snell & Passmore take part in twelfth annual Dragon Boat Festival

Saturday 12 September 2009 saw Thomson Snell & Passmore take part in the twelfth annual Dragon Boat Festival at Bewl Water, Lamberhurst, Kent. The festival sees teams competing against each other in Chinese-style dragon boats to raise money for their chosen charity.

The law team competed against other local charity enthusiasts in the dragon boats over a 250 metre course, raising money for EllenorLions Hospices and Hospice in The Weald. The festival has grown every year and now includes tented village, bands, celebrities and field events.

Thomson Snell & Passmore has raised over £2,000 from the dragon boat festival which is added to over £11,400  raised for the hospices from previous fundraising activities including a sponsored walk.
