  • Overview

As in previous years, we have decided to put the funds that would otherwise have been spent on Christmas cards to a more long-term use.

We are proud to support Alzheimer’s Society as our official charity partner until 2015.

Alzheimer’s Society staff and volunteers provide over 2,000 local services to people affected by dementia. Services include Dementia Support Workers who provide one to one support and advice, helping people get the care they need and plan for the future, and support and befriending services to help partners and families cope with the demands of caring. From their innovative Singing for the Brain™ sessions to group outings and Dementia Cafes, their services provide both practical support and an essential opportunity to socialise and stay active.

Alzheimer’s Society support many thousands more people through online information and support and their National Dementia Helpline. It also campaigns tirelessly to influence government policies and raise awareness of the challenges faced by people with dementia. Plus, through its research programme it works to improve the knowledge we have about dementia and its treatment and pursues the ultimate goal of finding a cure.

The firm is actively involved with other charitable causes in the community. Read moreabout our recent fundraising efforts.
