Thomson Snell & Passmore joins global network

South East law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore has joined the largest legal referral network in the world.

Nextlaw Global Referral Network is run by Dentons, with more than 300 member firms and 19,000 lawyers.

The move is part of the firm’s “ongoing ambitious growth strategy” as it approaches its 450th anniversary in 2020. Other UK member firms include Brodies, Shepherd and Wedderburn, Carson McDowell and Mourant Ozannes.

“The key driver behind our decision was to continue giving our clients access to the best legal advisers around the world, whilst ensuring that the highest level of service is maintained,” said Thomson Snell & Passmore chief executive.

“The only criterion for membership of Nextlaw is quality, and the only motivation is to serve clients better.”

Jeff Modisett, Nextlaw chief executive, added: “We’re proud to welcome Thomson Snell & Passmore as part of our network. We’re only as good as the quality of our member firms and this addition makes us stronger and better able to meet the needs of our other members’ clients in the UK legal market.”
