Notable cases
- Several major Inquests, a recent one being reported extensively in the media, following the tragic death of a young girl who was knocked over by a cyclist in 2008. Lynne has also had success in obtaining public funding for some of the more complex Inquest cases.
- In 2007 Lynne settled a complex endocrinology case involving a condition known as Sheehans Syndrome, which is now rarely suffered by women in this country.
- Lynne has dealt with a full range of clinical negligence cases and in 2007 settled a complex orthopaedic case involving an undiagnosed fractured scaphoid which settled for a sum in excess of £100,000. She was also involved in an orthopaedic case in 2008 following negligent knee surgery, with a claimant who had a complex medical history, which also settled for a sum in excess of £100,000.
- Lynne was also involved in a multi million pound maximum severity case, with a mother unable to look after her young children as a result of severe brain damage (the brain damage was tragically acquired as a result of her doctors' failure to diagnose a treatable heart condition, leading to a cardiac arrest). Lynne also recovered damages in 2008 for the mother's partner as she collapsed in front of him and he went on to suffer PTSD as a result.
