Among his clients are farms and large landed estates and some high profile figures in the music industry.
He also advises on offshore trusts, heritage claims for works of art and all types of gift. In 2005 he acted for the majority shareholders in the sale of a South Coast brewery to Fullers for £92m.

Simon is given special mention in leading independent guide to UK law firms, Chambers UK in the field of trusts and personal tax and is recommended for the same work by the Legal 500 Directory.
He was the founding Chairman of the Kent Branch of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He is an occasional contributor to The Tax Journal.
He acts as a trustee of many trusts, including private and charitable trusts.
Simon is on the firm's Management Board and is also the Finance Partner.
Profile
Simon has been a partner since 1989, acting for a very wide range of individual and trustee clients. His aim is to provide the services of a family solicitor on a long-term basis for his clients. Before joining the firm, he worked in London for 7 years, at Stephenson Harwood and then at Boodle Hatfield.
