Asbestosis

Asbestosis is always caused by exposure to asbestos and will be more extensive with intense and prolonged exposure. It affects the lungs themselves. Asbestosis may not necessarily affect daily living as it can be 'mild' in its impact.

If you or one of your loved ones has suffered asbestosis which impacts or impacted upon normal daily living then you may be entitled to certain state benefits and possibly also, depending on the circumstances, compensation through the courts.

Surviving family members such as a wife, partner or children of an asbestosis sufferer can also take legal action to claim compensation.
