Contentious probate

We handle all disputes arising out of the execution of wills and the administration of estates and trusts.

We advise beneficiaries, trustees, executors, administrators or charities who find themselves involved in disputes or litigation when wills or probate arrangements are being challenged. 

We also advise on claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependents) Act 1975 and for clients wishing to challenge irregularities with wills or how Grants of Probate have been obtained. 

In addition, working closely with our specialist Wills, Trusts and Tax Planning team, we advise on preventative measures that can be taken by trustees and executors to try to avoid such disputes.
