Discipline & grievance

We regularly advise on disciplinary and grievance procedures.

In April 2009 the formal statutory grievance and disciplinary procedures were replaced by the new ACAS Code of Practice for Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures. Whilst much of the formality (and indeed complexity) of the old procedures has been removed, it is still important to deal with issues fairly and consistently.  

We have considerable experience of producing carefully drafted disciplinary and grievance policies, putting in place a clear process for dealing with issues. When problems arise, we frequently provide our clients with support throughout the disciplinary and grievance process, in order to ensure that their interests are protected.
