Health and Safety in the workplace should be of paramount importance for all employers. The regulations surrounding the safety requirements for the workplace are vast and complex. Every day hundreds of people are injured or killed on the UK’s roads. Those injured are not limited to drivers but can include passengers, pedestrians and cyclists. In the case of Eagle v Chambers in 2003 the Court of Appeal stated that it would be rare for a pedestrian to be found more responsible for an accident than a driver.
