Acted for specialist healthcare fit out contractor assisting with preparation of construction documentation and resolution of disputes relating to alleged defects, disputed variations and delay related claims in connection with fit out of operating theatres and MRI scanning facilities for various NHS trusts and private healthcare providers.

The disputes involved issues arising from the need to ensure compliance with the strict specification requirements for those facilities and complexities arising from converting parts of existing hospitals and clinics into units with independent and very tightly controlled mechanical and electrical systems, power / auxiliary back up power supplies and the like.
