Advising Motorline on its strategic acquisition of Hyundai digital stores

We advised our long-standing client Motorline Group on its recent acquisition of two Hyundai digital stores in Bluewater and Westfield Stratford, and its acquisition of the Hyundai Aftersales Centre in Dartford.

Partner and Head of Corporate & Commercial, Joanne Gallagher, led the cross-disciplinary team, assisted by Faye Cook, Associate in the Corporate team. The team were involved in the asset purchase from a very early stage, negotiating from heads of terms through to completion. Having the specialist expertise to deal with all elements of the transaction within the firm meant that the team could respond quickly to any issues that arose within the tight timeframe required for completion.

This strategic acquisition allowed Motorline to take its first step into digital sales, and marked another successful transaction in the company’s continued expansion plans.
