Brexit uncertainty brings extra considerations for commercial property deal

The commercial property team at Thomson Snell & Passmore has recently assisted a young farming couple with a move from one county to East Sussex. Being new to the area, we were pleased to introduce the couple to land agents and tax advisers who advised them on the most tax efficient way to hold their land. The uncertainty of Brexit meant that there were additional factors to take into consideration as one of the couple is a German national and the couple are understandably keen to head off at an early stage any future issues that may arise as a consequence.
