Defence of a claim concerning defective construction of factory premises

We acted for our client in defending a claim brought by a building contractor commissioned to construct our client’s new factory premises, a key element of our client’s business expansion. The dispute concerned alleged non-payment by our client of the contractor’s final invoice and our client’s counterclaim for the cost of significant remedial works required as a result of serious defects.
