  • Overview

This case study demonstrates the expertise of our Personal Injury team who recently recovered £100,000 in compensation for Mr B who was injured in an accident at work when he was hit by a forklift truck.

An employer's liability claim was brought against Mr B's employer for breach of health and safety regulations and failing to implement a safe system of work.

Mr B suffered a back injury including a fracture to one of the vertebra in his spine and he also developed post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and depression.

Mr B was unable to return to work due to his injuries and had to change his job to one which avoided lifting and bending. Alex ensured that his claim included compensation for his loss of earnings as a result.
