Thomson Snell & Passmore has secured a five sum figure for a former plant worker who developed Platinum Salts allergy, and associated asthma and rhinitis, through his employment.
T, a former plant worker, developed Platinum Salts allergy following his employment at the defendant’s plant in Enfield. In addition it was also suggested that he had developed associated asthma and rhinitis.
T had been employed by the plant as an agency worker and had been hoping to take on a permanent position prior to his allergy attack. Following his decline in health the defendant’s dismissed T on the basis of ill health.

A claim was made on T’s behalf Thomson Snell & Passmore, who specialises in chemical poisoning and asbestos related claims. A five sum figure was obtained for T to compensate him for the harm that had been caused.
