Providing an estate planning review for a farming family looking to undertake generational planning

Simon provided a full range of estate planning advice on the existing trusts, advised the couple to create a new trust (and the subsequent preparation of the trust) and advised on relevant planning and development issues. He was also able to advise on lifetime gifts made by the couple and loan waivers, in order for them to decrease the size of their estates and allow their families to benefit from their wealth. Simon worked with the couple’s accountant in providing the estate planning advice.

Simon prepared new wills for the couple in light of their current situation and undertook substantial generational planning to allow the couple to begin transferring a portion of their wealth to their son and his wife.
