Residential Conveyancing – Quick turnaround for international client

I was contacted by an existing client who is now residing in Asia. He had found a buyer for his Tunbridge Wells flat but the buyer had already exchanged contracts in connection with his own sale and therefore wished to tie his purchase of this flat in. The buyers sale was completing 12 working days after their offer was made and accepted via the Estate Agents. We immediately issued our Client Care package which the client signed electronically.

The management pack (leasehold enquiries from the freeholder) was ordered by email and the client paid an expedition fee for this to be processed quickly – but still 5 working days from request. Contract papers were issued electronically and documents were emailed to the client to print, sign and courier back to the UK. The client needed to come to Tunbridge Wells to clear the property so he booked flights for the Sunday. He came to our office Monday morning to sign the contract documents instead. Contracts were exchanged 2 days later once the buyers searches were back.

With the aid of the Buyers Solicitors we completed the whole transaction from instruction to the move date within 13 working days.
