  • Overview

Thomson Snell & Passmore acted for private individuals who wanted to upgrade the electricity supply to their property in a prominent town in the South West. The existing supply was not fit for purpose and was a risk to their insurance cover if left unaddressed.

A dispute arose with our clients’ neighbours as to our clients’ right to use or access the electricity cable that had the potential to render our clients’ property unusable.

The team successfully negotiated with the neighbours a resolution that resulted in a new cable being installed in an agreed location under an agreed plan of works with clearly defined rights thereby improving the previous position.
