Sale of a Grade I listed property with prior substantial renovations

Selling a listed property can be a difficult task. There are extra controls over what changes can be made to a building and most work will require Listed Building Consent.

Grade I listed properties carry a higher burden than Grade II listed properties. Any works to the interior of the property also often require the requisite Listed Building Consent.

Rebecca’s expertise meant that she was able to give careful consideration to the planning consents obtained by the client to make sure that the Buyers and their surveyor were happy that all of the works had the required consents.
