Thomson Snell & Passmore advise long-standing client Colas Limited on their latest acquisition

Thomson Snell & Passmore has acted for national civil engineering firm, Colas Limited, a long-standing client of the firm, in respect of its recent acquisition of the entire issued share capital in Allied Infrastructure Management Limited; a Leigh-based airport maintenance contractor with an annual turnover of £13 million. Colas is an ambitious, award-winning business, delivering sustainable solutions for the design, construction and maintenance of the UK’s transport infrastructure. The aim and basis of the transaction was that the customer base of Allied Infrastructure would complement that of Colas.

The transaction team at Thomson Snell & Passmore was lead by Corporate team, assisted by Joseph Hartland, and Ben Stepney, a Senior Associate in the Employment team.

We were able to overcome various complications arising during the transaction. A common sense approach lead to the transaction’s smooth progress to completion.
