We advised an established wine retailer, Eurowines Limited, on a review and update of their terms and conditions of business.

Our client had run into a small dispute and wanted to confirm their terms and conditions were fit for purpose. An update was needed to deal with new data protection legislation as well as the unpredictable consequences of the UK’s departure from the European Union. We were able to advise the client that the terms and conditions were not suitable for consumers and advise what further specific considerations related to consumers.

The client went on to instruct us to prepare terms and conditions for their web-based business selling to consumers, which involved a re-working of their privacy policy in light of the General Data Protection Regulations
