Thomson Snell & Passmore acts for major estate in the East Midlands and major part of a village in the South East, acquired over several hundred years.

The land ownership is held under various trusts and we undertook a substantial and complex  voluntary first registration exercise to enable the client to deal with its numerous titles more effectively.

Recent work includes deals involving development land and refinancing of the farming and commercial businesses secured by charges over farms and farmland. The due diligence required by the banks has been extensive, given the number of tenancies to which the land is subject, and complex plotting of large areas cutting across several titles

The client is one of our largest landowning clients for which we are on hand to give adhoc advice as and when needed across all areas of the sector team.
