Louise Mathias-Williams has become an accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) after successfully completing the Older Client Law in Practice Award.
SFE is a national, specialist group of lawyers which provides legal advice specifically aimed at older and vulnerable people, their families and carers. Guidance and support is available across a number of areas including Powers of Attorney, trusts, probate, tax planning and estate planning.
As a leading, independent organisation, SFE members are highly qualified and regulated professional advisers, who must spend at least 50% of their time working with older and vulnerable clients.
Louise is one of only a few lawyers in West Kent to be an accredited member of SFE, reinforcing her specialist skills and experience in advising on matters concerning the elderly and vulnerable. She is also a Dementia Friend.
Working within the broader private client department, Louise and the rest of the team provide a full range of private client services and the team is recognised by Chambers UK for its “niche expertise in acting for vulnerable or incapacitated adults”.
