South east firm Thomson Snell & Passmore has welcomed partner Monika Byrska to its dispute resolution team, bolstering the contentious probate practice.
Monika joins the firm after more than eight years with Anthony Gold, and focuses her practice on wills, trusts and estate disputes. Her areas of expertise span contentious probate matters including will challenges and Inheritance Act claims, trust disputes between property co-owners, and proprietary estoppel claims.
Nicholas Horton, partner and head of dispute resolution, said: ‘We would like to extend a very warm welcome to Monika whose substantial litigation experience and her understanding of wider tax and estate administration issues will significantly add to our contentious probate service. This is a very important area of the law for our private clients. We place great emphasis on the needs of our valued clients and Monika’s appointment will help us to continue to do that.’
Monika added: ‘As I take the next step in my legal career, I am honoured to be joining Thomson Snell & Passmore, a firm recognised for its strong legal expertise across personal and business services. I look forward to working with Nicholas and the dispute resolution team to strengthen our contentious probate offering to our clients and our already leading position as specialists in this field.’
