Head of Corporate and Commercial Joanne Gallagher recently shared her thoughts on 2020 and her hopes for 2021 with Kent Life Magazine.
How has the last year impacted on you & your business?
I think it is safe to say that every business and every individual has felt the impact of the pandemic and resulting restrictions put in place to combat it. Like many, we have mostly been working from home. We have a well-established home working programme, which has allowed us to continue to deliver a high level of client service.
What have you learned from this experience?
Not being able to meet with clients face to face has certainly meant we have had to find new and innovative ways to service their needs and continue to build relationships. In particular, we have been able to harness new technology to help us complete deals. It has been great to see my team adapt and pull together in rising to the challenges this year has thrown at us.
As a firm, we’re committed to finding ways to ‘bounce back better’ and we’re keen to use our new learnings to help our clients going forward.
What are your hopes & dreams for 2021?
I was delighted to hear the news about vaccines for COVID-19 – there does seem to be some light at the end of the tunnel.
We also have Brexit to contend with! But whatever the future holds, it is my hope to continue to help my clients navigate any challenges. I will also keep supporting my team, helping them to excel and to drive growth and success for the firm as a whole.
