Leading South East law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore is delighted to announce that its Thames Gateway office has relocated to the Crossways Business Park in Dartford. The new office will be open for business from 30 September.
Thomson Snell & Passmore was the first regional law firm to establish a presence in Thames Gateway, in May 2005. The firm’s Thames Gateway office, until now located in Greenhithe, specialises in corporate, commercial, commercial property, employment and dispute resolution advice for the Thames Gateway business community. Since Thomson Snell & Passmore opened in Thames Gateway, the office has grown from one person to 20, and it is this growth that has prompted the move to a new larger and bespoke premises.
Thomson Snell & Passmore’s presence in the Thames Gateway area has grown alongside that of the flourishing business community. In recent years, businesses have flocked to take advantage of the area’s transport links and proximity to London, and tens of thousands of jobs have been created. Landmark developments include the Bluewater shopping centre, the Chatham Maritime mixed-use development, and the recently announced plans for a “Disney-Style” entertainment park at Swanscombe Peninsula.
Thomson Snell & Passmore was the first law firm to recognise the opportunities presented by the regeneration of the Thames Gateway area. The firm spent the early years of its establishment meeting business leaders, local professionals and authorities to understand what had already been achieved. This desire to understand the issues affecting businesses and communities across the region continues to sit at the centre of the Thames Gateway team’s ethos.
Kamal Aggarwal, Head of the Thames Gateway office at Thomson Snell & Passmore, said:
We are delighted that the Thames Gateway office, which has gone from strength to strength in recent years, is taking this next step. Thames Gateway has seen huge changes over the last few years and continues to be a very exciting business environment. The growth of our presence in Thames Gateway is a testament both to the excellence of our legal work and to our commitment to the larger Thames Gateway regeneration. We as a firm are dedicated to providing the best service we can for businesses in the region, and we look forward to taking this next step with our clients.
James Partridge, Senior Partner added:
The move to new premises is to accommodate our growing team and give us the capacity to grow further in the coming years in line with the Firm’s Business Plan. The Thames Gateway office currently accounts for over 30% of the firm’s commercial group income and the move demonstrates our commitment to the regeneration of the area, which we are looking forward to actively participating in.
