Leading South East law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore is delighted to announce its sponsorship of an event with TV presenter and countryman Adam Henson, on Thursday 21st November 2013 at the Kent Showground in Detling, Maidstone.
All proceeds raised will go to The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) and The Countryside Alliance.
The evening will include an enjoyable and insightful talk by Adam Henson on his life in television and farming, as well as an auction, raffle, licensed bar and tea and coffee. Tickets will cost £17.50 and doors will open from 6.00pm.
Thomson Snell & Passmore are proud supporters of RABI, and this year have already held a successful competition for the Heathfield Show in May where all money raised went to the charity. The firm has a long history of providing clear, practical legal advice to the farming community and key members of the Agricultural & Rural Affairs team will be attending the event and able to discuss in an informal setting the full range of services the firm offers, whether dealing with business, land and property matters or tax and succession planning.
RABI supports members of the farming community facing need, hardship or distress. The charity provides long-term care and emergency help for farmers, farm workers, tenant farmers, farm managers, and their families.
The Countryside Alliance is a campaigning organisation, best known for its lobbying and campaigning work on field sports. It works to preserve the countryside and its traditional values whilst promoting a thriving rural community and economy.
Gilbert Green, partner and head of the Agricultural & Rural Affairs team at Thomson Snell & Passmore commented:
Both RABI and the Countryside Alliance are incredibly important organisations that offer an invaluable service to the rural and agricultural community. We are delighted to sponsor this event and are very much looking forward to gaining an insight into the work and life of Adam Henson.
