    Leading South East law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore is pleased to announce that Simon Mitchell has joined the firm as a Partner. Simon has been appointed from Adams & Remers and has over 20 years’ experience specialising in wills, tax and estate planning. 

    Simon’s practice encompasses a wide breadth of private client matters ranging from capital gains tax planning to probate and the administration of estates advice. He also has in-depth capabilities in the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney. This wealth of expertise has been recognised by leading legal directory The Legal 500 2019, which noted Simon as a “solution-driven” consultant. He is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly and also, alongside other partners in the team, a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the professional body for advisers who specialise in inheritance and succession planning. Simon’s extensive experience adds to and further strengthens the firm’s private client offering.
