  • Overview

We are proud to announce our sponsorship, for the second year running, of the twenty-first edition of the Kent Property Market Report (KPMR), the annual guide to investment and development in Kent. The launch event of the report took place 18 October, at 32 Tower View, Kings Hill.

The KPMR, jointly produced for the past twenty-one years by Kent County Council, Cluttons LLP and Locate in Kent, reviews activity and major commercial property deals across all sectors in the region. The detailed report on the rural, retail, tourism and housing sectors in the Kent area is also endorsed by The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Last year’s report showed that despite the economic outlook, the Kent commercial property sector continued to perform – the county was in a favourable position compared to some other parts of the country, with unemployment below the national average. The Enterprise Zone for Discovery Park, recent infrastructure investment and proximity to London all had a positive effect on business growth in the region.

Other sponsors of the 2012 KPMR include Locate in Kent, Lloyds TSB and Liberty Property Trust.

Gilbert Green, partner and head of the Commercial Property & Development team at Thomson Snell & Passmore, said:

“I am delighted we are sponsoring the Kent Property Market Report for the second year running. This has proved an invaluable account on the region’s property performance in the past and I am sure the 2012 edition will be as insightful as ever. ”
