  • Overview

The Private Client team of leading South East law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore is thrilled to have come away with top prize, the ‘Excellence in Private Client Practice’ award at the Law Society Excellence Awards 2016 which took place at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel in London on Thursday 20 October.

Led by Nicola Plant, Thomson Snell & Passmore’s Private Client team is renowned for being a premier private client practice in the South East. It is ranked in the Top Tier by The Legal 500 and has been commended for a first class service to clients. This win celebrates the team’s status as a trusted advisor for generations as the oldest law firm in operation.

The Law Society Excellence Awards is now in its 10th year and is run by The Law Society. The awards celebrate the outstanding work carried out in the legal profession and the winners of the awards are chosen by a specialist expert panel. This year, the ‘Excellence in Private Client Practice’ award was decided by Julia Abrey, Withers Worldwide Partner and Chair of STEP’s cross border Mental Capacity Special Interest Group, and Gill Steel, the Director of LawSkills Ltd.

Nicola Plant, Partner and Head of Private Client, comments:
“This is fantastic recognition for both the Private Client team and the wider firm, demonstrating our dedication to providing our clients with the best service possible over many generations. We were thrilled that the judges recognised in particular our client listening programme. As we approach our 450th anniversary, we remain focused on strengthening our practice and remaining responsive to the changing needs of our clients.”
