  • Overview

Times of Tunbridge Wells reports on ten lawyers from Tunbridge Wells firm Thomson Snell & Passmore who took part in the Cross Wales Challenge on June 25-26 in order to raise funds for the firm’s nominated charities, the Pickering Cancer Drop-in Centre and Mind UK.

The 50-mile walk across the full width of mid-Wales started at Anchor Bridge on the border with England and ended up on the coast at Aberystwyth. It took the hikers two full days of 12 hours’ walking to cover the distance.

Chris Kirby-Turner, Senior Associate at Thomson Snell & Passmore, who organised the event with James Cahan, said: “The team put in a fantastic effort, with everybody completing two days of difficult terrain – made all the more of a challenge by a thorough drenching on day two.
