Coronavirus Job Retention Bonus
This month has seen the publication of the full details of the Coronavirus Job Retention Bonus (‘CJRB’). The CJRB is a one-off £1,000 bonus that can be claimed by employers for each employee that they kept employed for at least three continuous months following their return from furlough leave.
Changes to Employment Tribunals
Public services are stretched and Employment Tribunals are no exception. According to the latest Ministry of Justice statistics there are some 37,000 outstanding cases, surpassing the previous peak of 36,000 in 2010, with hearings already being listed deep into 2022.
