Associate, Real Estate

Christina Bassett

Following qualification, Christina started her legal career in residential property but due to the property market crash in 2008, moved to practice in both claimant and defendant personal injury law (working for well-known insurers). In 2015, Christina returned to property, dealing with both residential and commercial transactions at another local well-known firm, based in their East Grinstead office.

Having worked with some niche developer clients in East Grinstead and Tunbridge Wells, Christina became interested in specialising in development work, specifically dealing with the legal contract documents for development sites and the onward plot sales. She has more recently become involved with preparing the contract and developments agreements for her developer clients in their Affordable Housing sales and transferring such Affordable Housing to the housing providers.

Christina also produces more general legal documents such as Deeds of Easement and Wayleave Agreements involving gas and electricity providers, Deeds of Variation and has worked on option agreements.
