Jessica Wells

Jessica joined the firm in November 2020 as a paralegal in the Residential Conveyancing Department before commencing her training contract in March 2021. In March 2023 Jessica qualified as a solicitor into the Employment Department.

Previously, Jessica has worked in the University of Hull’s Legal Advice Centre, providing pro-bono legal and social advice, as well as providing educational support to inmates in HMP Hull. Jessica has also completed her advisor training with the Citizen’s Advice Bureau where she provided advice on benefit entitlement, housing and employment issues.

  • Jessica provides clients with assistance on a broad range of workplace matters, including unfair dismissal, all types of discrimination, redundancies and disciplinary matters, contract and document drafting, internal process and settlement agreements. Jessica also provides assistance with Employment Tribunal disputes.

Education

Jessica graduated from the University of Hull with a bachelor’s degree in Law with Criminology (Hons) before completing the Legal Practice Course and Master’s in Law and Legal Practice at the University of Law (Bloomsbury). Jessica qualified as a solicitor in 2023 and specialises in Employment Law.
