Specialisms & expertise

  • Managing deputyships for a wide range of individuals, with particular involvement in cases concerning high value damages awards for children and adults with severe acquired brain injuries
  • Working with case managers, personal injury and clinical negligence lawyers, social workers and relatives involved in the client’s care, to ensure the client’s finances are managed in his or her best interests.
  • Advising on the role of the deputy generally and preparing a wide range of applications to the Court of Protection 
  • Liaising with investment advisors and asset management companies for long term financial planning.

 
Profile

Natalie read law at the University of Sheffield, graduating in 2015, before completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in London. 

During her time at university Natalie was team leader of FreeLaw, a free legal advice clinic for people who cannot access advice elsewhere. Natalie received the University of Sheffield Pro Bono Award for a contribution to the FreeLaw clinic

Natalie started her two year training contract with Thomson Snell & Passmore LLP in September 2017. Natalie spent the second year of her training contract working exclusively in the Court of Protection team. Natalie joined the Court of Protection team in September 2019 upon qualification.
