Samuel is an Assistant Solicitor in the Probate team, dealing with all areas of non-contentious estate administration, including:
- Estate Administration
- Applications for grants of representation
- Intestate estates.
Achievements & other appointments
Preparing applications for grants of probate and letters of administration for our excepted estate ‘grant-only’ service. This includes obtaining grants for the use of our Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence teams.
Estate administration for estates of all sizes, including those for high net-worth clients.
Samuel completed an LLB (Hons) degree with a 2:1 in Law at the University of Cardiff in 2010, followed by obtaining a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Guildford branch in 2011. Samuel received an award for Kent and East Sussex Trainee Solicitor of the Year in 2014 and was shortlisted for Kent and East Sussex Junior Lawyer of the Year in 2015.
Samuel completed his training contract with the firm in September 2014 and qualified into our Residential Conveyancing team. Before undertaking his training contract with the firm, Samuel worked as a legacy officer for the RSPCA, gaining invaluable experience and insight into Probate law. With his combination of property expertise and a long-standing interest in private client work, Samuel joined the firm’s Probate team in October 2018 to further his interest in Probate law.
