Achievements & other appointments

Sophie is a former committee member for the Kent Law Society and is a Trustee of the Young Lives Foundation.

Sophie has been shortlisted for the Young Wills and Probate Professional Award at the UK Probate Research Awards in both 2021 and 2022.  In 2022 she was awarded highly commended in this category.

In 2022 Sophie was awarded the Kent Junior Lawyer’s Division Junior Lawyer of the Year.  In 2023 Sophie was awarded the Kent Law Society Junior Lawyer of the Year and in 2024 Sophie was awarded the Rising Star award in the National Modern Law Private Client Awards.

Education

Sophie graduated from the University of Winchester with an LLB in Law and went on to complete her Graduate Fast Track Diploma with the Law Training Centre in Kent.  She trained and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive at another regional firm in January 2022 and joined Thomson Snell & Passmore in 2025.
