We were instructed to advise on and negotiate the terms of a Construction Management contract for our client. A relatively new entity, our client had gained several clients and projects following its successful performance on an existing project. The client had not previously worked under this form of contract, but would be required to do so in future in relation to these new clients and projects.
The project in question relates to a major residential conversion in West Sussex and successful delivery of this project will be key to our client’s future growth and reputation. We concluded the contract terms for the client and provided clear advice as to the obligations and responsibilities the client would be under and how to ensure it would be able to deliver the project satisfactorily.
