Claims against designers, contractors and insurers in respect of a highly unusual private property

We acted for the owners of a highly unusual and experimental residential property, which featured prominently some years ago on a popular television show.

Unfortunately, there have been a number of severe problems affecting the property, resulting in the catastrophic failure of high performance heated glass panels, as well as cold bridging issues.

We have assisted our client by reviewing what had already been a very long running matter. We advised in relation to any claims that remained viable against the various parties and the strategy for moving matters forward so as to mitigate the situation as far as possible, in particular working with the expert to identify serious flaws in the remedial works that were at an early stage and which were then terminated, so that a properly considered scheme of works could be designed and implemented.
