Part gift and part sale of a substantial countryside property

The Conveyancing team worked closely with the Private Client and Employment departments, to provide a full and efficient service for the client.

As part of the Tax Planning advice provided by Nicola Brant, the clients and their family agreed to part gift and part sell their substantial country property to one son.

Rebecca was able to successfully affect a part gift and part sale of the client’s country estate. In doing so, Rebecca also had to consider a lease-back arrangement for one of the properties in the grounds and a separate licence for the use of some common facilities.
