An exciting growth opportunity has arisen for a qualified lawyer with 4+ years’ experience to join our Commercial Disputes team in our Thames Gateway office.
The role will comprise a broad array of commercial litigation cases including, for example, claims for breach of contract, intellectual property matters, director/shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, reputation management, regulatory disputes, and financial services and professional negligence claims.
In addition the role will include dealing with construction disputes, including adjudication work, and more specialist international litigation and arbitration cases, largely made up of trade, shipping and logistics disputes, with an emphasis on commodities and insurance disputes. We are one of the few teams outside London with the expertise to handle heavyweight international cases of this nature.
You will work on some matters autonomously, under appropriate supervision, as well as being part of a team on larger matters, with training as necessary on some of the more technical legal issues dealt with by the team, as well as on the practice and procedure for commercial legal processes, such as arbitrations / adjudications. You will have exposure to case management and client relationship development.
