Thomson Snell & Passmore recognised in The Times Best Law Firms 2020

Leading South East law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore has once again been recognised in The Times Best Law Firms 2020, one of only two firms in Kent to be listed. The family and business tax practices are commended as amongst the top in the country.

Only 200 of over 10,000 legal practices in England and Wales made the list, which has been compiled by The Times and Statista, and is entirely peer selected. It is based on lawyers answering one simple question – ‘other than your own firm, which practice would you instruct in this area of work’ and is broken down across 31 practice areas.

Joanne Gallagher, who heads up the firm’s corporate and commercial group, was also referenced in the listing, for her work on a range of acquisitions for clients.

Thomson Snell & Passmore’s ranking builds on last year’s recognition, where its family practice was featured as one of only two Kent based firms in that category.

This year’s listing follows on from impressive rankings for the firm in both The Legal 500 and Chambers UK.

Commenting on the appointment, Thomson Snell & Passmore’s CEO, Sarah Henwood says: “This is an amazing achievement by both teams, and is particularly significant as it is based solely on the opinions of our peers. As a firm, we hugely value our relationships with a wide range of legal practices in the South East and beyond.

“The listing helps cement our position as one of the preeminent law firms in the South East, and to have two practice areas recognised is testament to our growth, dedication and excellent levels of service. I look forward to building on these achievements as we enter our 450th year, and beyond.”
