Alisa Sweeney

Alisa is an experienced Real Estate Partner who heads up our Food and Drink sector at Thomson Snell & Passmore. She has approximately 30 years of experience of advising a variety of clients on all aspects of real estate but particularly on Landlord and Tenant matters.

Alisa enjoys cultivating a close working relationship with clients guiding them through the world of Real Estate to help them achieve their commercial objectives enabling them to focus on their day to day business.

Alisa enjoys attending industry events in order to understand the pressures that clients face and is a solicitor with a particular interest in the hospitality world as a member of the Leisure Property forum. Alisa is also a member of Women in Property.

On all of their UK restaurant acquisitions including premises of Nova Victoria, Kings Road, London, Westgate, Oxford and Westfield London.

Acting on established Asian business Paris Baguette UK

With their first UK bakeries at Battersea Power Station and Kensington High Street.

Acting for another well known restaurant chain

On more than 40 acquisitions in high street properties and destination shopping centres such as Trinity Leeds and Westfield.

Acting for an investor

Following development of an out of time site in letting to a Burger King franchisee and the following investment sale of the property.

Acting for a landscape contractor

In connection with their nationwide property portfolio and assisting the corporate team with property aspects of company acquisitions.

Acting for a large local charity

In connection with the acquisition of a new operational base on a retail and industrial park.

Acting for major institutional investors, pension funds developers and shopping centre owners

On retail lettings including leading a team on an important regional shopping centre with more than 120 units.

Education

Alisa has a Law Degree LLB (Hons) from Nottingham Trent University and she obtained her Sandwich degree undertaking work experience at both a London and a regional firm. She then went on to undertake her professional exams at the College of Law in Store Street before completing a training contract at a small London practice. Alisa qualified in 1994 and joined Thomson Snell & Passmore in 2015 as a partner from regional firm Cripps where she had been a partner since 2007.
