Accounts Assistant, Court of Protection

Boba Lee

The whole of my working career I have worked in the legal industry, started at the bottom and worked my way up including taking accountancy exams and becoming a qualified Accountant Technician. I have worked as a secretary, legal cashier, progressed to an Office Manager, a Finance Manager and then became a PA to Head of Finance & Operations.

I joined the Court of Protection department here at Thomson Snell & Passmore in June 2021. The main aspects of my job are preparing files to be costed by Cost Draftsmen, arranging billing of the files and sending them to the SCCO, reconciling accounts monthly in readiness for submission of the OPG Report at the end of the General Management period and undertaking various file management and admin tasks to support the team.
