Daniel Gorringe

Dan is a Corporate Lawyer in the firm’s Corporate & Commercial department. Dan specialises in mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, shareholders agreements and other corporate advisory and transactional work.

Prior to joining Thomson Snell & Passmore in 2022, Dan spent seven years at a regional firm where he completed his training contract before qualifying as a solicitor in 2020.

Since joining Thomson Snell & Passmore, Dan has acted on a variety of corporate and M&A deals including complex, cross-border transactions in the mid-market space. Dan adopts a pro-active and collaborative approach to assist clients in achieving their commercial objectives.

Dan currently sits on the firm’s charity, sports and social committee.

On its complex cross-border acquisition of UK based Academia Group Limited (a leading provider of digital infrastructure training programmes and related services).

Achievements & other appointments

Dan won the Junior Lawyer of the Year 2024 award at the Kent Junior Lawyers Division.

Education

Dan graduated from the University of York with an honours degree in Law (LLB) in 2013. He then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, London Bloomsbury.

Dan was admitted as a solicitor in September 2020 and joined Thomson Snell & Passmore in 2022.
