Profile

Dominic has an LLB from the University of Sussex and completed his LPC at the University of Law.

He has an intellectual property background and has worked on a range of both contentious and non-contentious matters. In particular, he has experience in trade mark prosecution and litigation, as well as the commercial aspects of the transfer of IP rights in the context of mergers and acquisitions. Dominic has also assisted clients with the protection of their brands online, including on major tech platforms, and he has also worked on design right disputes and Protected Designation of Origin matters.

He worked at the firm Powell Gilbert prior to starting his training contract with Thomson Snell & Passmore, where he assisted with a variety of trade mark cases, as well as assisting fee-earners with all aspects of its patent litigation practice.

Since arriving at Thomson Snell & Passmore as a Trainee Solicitor in March 2022, Dominic has begun a seat in the Dispute Resolution department assisting with a range of commercial disputes. He will also be undertaking seats in the Property Litigation, Commercial Property and Family departments.

Outside work, Dominic still enjoys playing the drums after a previous career as a professional musician. He enjoys snowboarding, going to gigs and watching sports, including football, snow sports and Formula 1.
